WHO IS NURSE D?
DIANA ARISTIZABAL, BSN-RN; MSN-FNP
I am Diana Aristizabal, a professional nurse, who has worked as a Nurse Practitioner, Senior Urology Oncology Nurse and Senior Oncology Research Nurse. For over 15 years, I worked at such outstanding academic institutions as New York- Presbyterian Columbia University Irvin Medical Center, New York University Langone Medical Center and Mount Sinai Hospital helping top doctors guide their practice, as well as, aiding patients throughout their treatments. From my experience at these extraordinary institutions, there is no question that good health habits are the cornerstone of illness prevention and must be a priority in today’s practice of medicine.
I have a Master’s degree in Nursing Science from PACE University in New York and, prior to that, I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Medellin, Colombia. In addition, specialized coursework at Vanderbilt University has prepared me to offer evidence-based and tailored-wellness strategies to my patients.
My goal, as I work with my clients, is to provide them with an accurate and integrative view of their current health situation and to guide them to promptly make adjustments to enhance the quality of their lives. Working directly with my clients, I will help them move toward a healthier future through understanding the importance of wellness.
Now that I’m established in Westport with my family, consisting of my husband, son and three dogs, the time seems right to start helping patients improve their overall health and manage their chronic illnesses. I will be there as your coach to help and to guide you on your personal journey.
Together we will discover your path toward a healthier life!
